Your Right to Delete Your Data

At Utsavo, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:

• Your account profile (name, email, phone, avatar)
• All events you created, including invitation designs and images
• Guest lists and RSVP data for your events
• Wishes and messages received on your events
• Analytics data (views, shares, opens)
• Payment records (transaction IDs are retained for legal/tax compliance)
• Any files uploaded to our storage (avatars, invitation images)

What Is Not Deleted

• Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained
• Legal records: Transaction records required by law (e.g., tax compliance) may be retained in anonymized form

How to Request Deletion

Option 1: Self-Service

If you are logged in, you can manage your data from your Settings page. You can update or remove your profile information, avatar, and individual events.

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to invitations@utsavo.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Option 3: Facebook Data Deletion

If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also remove Utsavo’s access to your data from your Facebook App Settings. This will revoke our access, and you can then request full account deletion via email.

Processing Time

Self-service deletions are processed immediately. Email-based deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
